Participation in the watersports and ziplining activities requires signing up within your registration by June 14th.

Know Before You Go

  • The activities and beach are located 0.8 miles away from the boat dock, so be sure to pack comfortable shoes.
  • Be on time! The buses and boats will depart exactly at the stated time. Anyone left behind on Catalina will be responsible for getting back to the Terranea at their own expense.
  • The Catalina Casino is a theater and historical landmark, but not an active gaming facility.
  • If you plan to take advantage of the beach at your own leisure, make sure to you're prepared for weather with sun protection and a water bottle.

Zipline Eco Tour

12:30pm - 2:30pm

Embark on an exhilarating adventure with the Catalina Island zipline experience. Following a brief safety training, ascend to the ridge top 600ft above the Descanso Beach Club and zoom down five separate lines, reaching speeds of up to 35 mph, all while soaking in breathtaking ocean views and traversing a grove of majestic eucalyptus trees. Learn about the island's unique 60 species of flora and fauna from expert guides along the way.
